We are all aware of how important education is
to today's youth. Your standard of living is maintained by your education.
Nowadays, it is more important to have an education than to breathe oxygen, and
every parent wants their kids to attend the greatest high school and college
possible. Parents provide their children with study techniques and suggestions
when they are ready to start school so they may learn more quickly and retain
the information.
Importance of Education
Education impacts the entire human race by
improving the quality and promoting a better life. Its importance is in
creating opportunities for learning that change our world in real ways. It is
extremely important that people have an adequate knowledge base in order to
successfully implement what they have learned at school. Access to quality
learning is important for individuals and also to society's development.
If education were not available at every level,
it would be hard to learn the world's laws, understand the laws and the world.
Another famous quote from George Orwell stating importance of educational
efforts is, ”Unless you cannot write well, you won't think well.”
Worst Study Advices
Have your studies been boring? How should you
improve in your classes or exams? Many people realize high school studying
habits are not helpful to college. That's ok, because colleges have very
different curriculums. The professors do not get very personal involvement in
classes. This means you need to improve your study skills. Thankfully it is
easy to use study tools to improve performance in the classroom and beyond.
However, there are some informational nuggets
and advice that our elders impart but that we shouldn't even attempt. The worst
advice a kid can receive is listed below.
- · Study is more crucial than rest.
- · Revise a paragraph multiple times to memorize it
- · Study in silence to learn better
- · Highest grades defines you better
- · Pressurizing child into career
- · You can’t succeed without education.
Study is more crucial than rest.
Students of all age groups are well aware of
their feelings and stress when taking an exam. Instead of cram or over-excite
students, focusing on effective strategies to manage their studies reduces
distractions. However many students have trouble learning healthy habits and
are aware that studying can be overwhelming. Study strategies differ depending
upon the course and the student's abilities and interests. There are no set
hours or time periods for students to study for optimum results.
A few studies show that relaxing and reboots
are essential to gaining productivity in a work environment. It is especially
important when students are spending hours hunched over computers. While many
students believe that studying in cramming sessions or studying all night can
help their degree, avoiding frequent breaks can be harmful to academic success.
Revise a paragraph multiple times to memorize it
Many parents advise their children to
concentrate for ten minutes and memorize the paragraph. It causes stress in the
student, who then begins to repeatedly read the text in an effort to remember
it. Additionally, a lot of parents themselves instruct their kids to read the
material again in an effort to memorize it, which is of no assistance at all.
Instead of revising a paragraph, it is
preferable to read it once and comprehend the words and content. Your brain is
forced to select the words and lines in order, therefore if you modify any of
the lines in between, your brain will instantly forget all of the phrases.
Because of this, working more is not always better, and reading a paragraph
again is of little assistance.
Study in silence to learn better.
Most people in libraries probably have
headphones in their hands. If you ever sat in the library you likely saw the
majority of people using headphones - you know this. It's impossible to do
schoolwork if we don't listen to most popular music and we know that the
concept of studying musical music differs. According to a recent cognitive
study, music can benefit children in learning through regular musical
practices. Ten years ago, musician Angélica Durrell began teaching students at
Connecticut High School to learn the basics of playing different percussion
instruments, including charango & toyo —music percussion instruments that
originate from Central and South America.
The drawback of quiet is that it makes your
body's internal and exterior sounds more noticeable. Your own breathing,
heartbeat, and the sound of your clothes scraping across the chair may all be
heard. It may be rather annoying in a quiet environment.
Highest grade defines you better
Your grades don't define you but they do
matter. Students can often be heard saying grades do not matter or grade does
not define oneself in their classroom throughout their high school years. While
these words may sound similar in terms of sound, their efficiency for students
is completely different. Telling a student that grades are not important may
seem to reduce anxiety in school, but in reality, the message is distorted. “Grades
don’t really matter,” is often used at high school even at Redwood High School.
The average parent's goal today is to achieve
exceptional academic performance for their young child. However, your grades
don't define your intelligence. This was mainly due to emphasis on letter scale
rather than on comprehension. Nonetheless higher grades are directly related to
positive work ethic even though it is not reflective of intellect. The worst
thing a parent can do is pressure their child into getting great marks. It's
never a good idea to force someone to do anything.
Pressurizing child into career
The child's selection or alternative routes to
achievement are disregarded. The child's mental fitness suffers as a result of
the continual pressure to fulfill the parents' expectations. The actual
capacity of the child is hampered when they are under pressure to perform in an
area in which they may have no interest. Although young minds have some
challenges, career building may be more difficult than they should. Changed
career paths have provided many children with new opportunities and have also created
problems and distress for them. Choosing careers is often an early stage in
life where students have no idea how to pursue them themselves.
Do we want to choose a career? The study also
examines parental influence on a young generation's career choice. Parents
influence a child's choice of career. Parents all over are looking for a better
future for their children—and often will move heaven and earth to support their
child's success. How do you determine which career path a teenager will pursue?
You can’t succeed without education.
Earning college degrees are an integral part of
the American Dream. Go to college, find work, buy a home and build a family. It
might be difficult, sometimes, but everything begins when we go into college.
College diplomas open doors to life. It prepares you mentally and socially for
your careers and adulthood. College education can provide opportunities for
careers such as better wages and high-quality work, but studies show it leads
to overall happiness. In some cases, a young person underestimates the
importance of university education in order to gain career opportunities.
A degree, however, is not necessary if you want
to become wealthy. It is possible if you want to expand your own business since
it is a better alternative than holding your degree in your palm and waiting in
line for a job. There are many affluent individuals without degrees enjoying
prosperous lives and running their own successful businesses all over the
world.
